Light dinner with Starazhytny kvass

We have been waiting for the arrival of spring for so long, and now we are suffering from heat and thirst. It’s not pleasant, but there is always a solution, friends! Together with fermentation kvass “Starazhytny” – it is invigorating and delicious. Our fermentation kvass is created according to an original recipe using baking yeast. It has a rich, moderately sweet taste. Perfectly quenches thirst, tones and gives strength. Have you already developed an appetite? Then catch the recipe!

For a classic beetroot salad with kvass, you will need:

• Starazhytny kvass – 0.6 l
• Beet broth – 0.6 l
• Beetroot – 3 pieces
• Green onion, parsley, dill – 1 bunch each
• Cucumbers – 2 pieces
• Chicken egg – 2 pieces
• Sour cream – 5 tablespoons
• Sugar – 1 teaspoon
• Citric acid, salt – to taste
• Vinegar – 1 tablespoon

Cooking:

1. Wash vegetables and herbs well. Boil the beets right in the peel, cool, peel and cut into strips. Peel the fresh cucumbers and also cut into strips.
2. Pour all the chopped vegetables with chilled kvass and filtered beet broth, add salt, sugar, citric acid, sprinkle with chopped green onions, dill and parsley.
3. When serving, put cut boiled eggs and sour cream in each plate with beetroot.
