Krinitsa has brewed its first sessional IPA

Krinitsa Brewery presents a new beer variety Mosaic IPA in the "Beer Card" portfolio.

This is the first sessional IPA, brewed at a large brewery in Belarus in compliance with all canons of this variety. The main taste accent of the new beer is American hops Mosaic, which the brewers supplemented with fresh Citra.

Mosaic IPA is brewed using very popular varieties of American hops Mosaic and Citra, each of which played a special role in shaping taste and aroma of the new beer. The beer is light, super-aromatic and refreshing.

"One of the latest trends in the beer world, which appeared several years ago, is session ale. The thing is that in the pursuit of strong tastes and flavors, brewers began to greatly increase alcohol strength and hopping of beer, in fact, they turned IPA into a strong hard-drinking beer. After the euphoria of highly hopped beer, its amateurs wanted something with less hops and less alcohol to enjoy it for a long time and to extend pleasure. It is about this fact that one of the versions of the origin of its name says: Session beer due to relatively small alcohol content is ideal for long friendly conversations - sessions. Mosaic IPA is brewed using very popular varieties of American hops Mosaic and Citra, each of which played special role in shaping taste and aroma of the new beer. Beer is light, super-aromatic and refreshing" - Sergei Reshetnikov, Marketing Manager of Krinitsa Brewery.

Krinitsa has brewed its first IPA in the framework of the "Beer Card" project. The beer became the third in the portfolio of varieties unusual for Belarus with limited production volumes presented by the company in the summer of 2016. This time, the brewers are inviting to visit the UK and to taste traditional British beer – ale. This is reflected in the label design decorated with the sights of the Foggy Albion.

"The effect of smell of tropical fruits and garden berries characteristic to Mosaic hops is amplified by the air flower and grapefruit scent of Citra hops. Light citrus acidity in taste is very refreshing, and in combination with malt tones it creates a feeling that you are tasting fruit nectar. But the coming moderately bitter aftertaste doesn't leave a doubt that the third "Beer Card" portfolio variety has a character, and you still have a sessional IPA" - Nikolay Tsaryuk, Production Manager of Krinitsa Brewery.

The project "Beer Card" makes it possible to "travel" through traditional varieties of different countries. The first beer in the portfolio was American Pale Ale, which was subsequently improved and re-launched; later the Belgian Dubbel was added to the portfolio. All varieties are brewed using traditional hops and malt in full compliance with the original recipe. 6In addition to taste and quality, the "Beer Card" project is also an opportunity for a Belarusian consumer to get acquainted with rare and exotic beer styles at reasonable prices.
